is it possible to set up esprit somehow so when you start a new program it asks you which material youre working in and it automatically recognizes regular feeds and speeds range so that if youre working in steel if you by mistake enter cutter feed of 5000 mm/min it will show alarm message which asks you are you sure you want to enter that number?
or if it recognizes some tool left in feed or speed regularly used for aluminium or plastic, it will alarm user?
today almost had an accident where the feed was entered by mistake with one 0 more and almost crashed machine.
yes, this can be accomplished through a combination of KBM and VBA or strickly VBA. Most likely I would create something in VBA though an autorun procedure for something like this. If this is something you would like to pursue let me know.
