    Exclamation ESPRIT Auto-Chain Crashes

Our shop has been using Esprit for quite a few years now, but it seems that since the 2010 update rolled around we are having a constant issue in which the software will bug and crash at random times when using the auto-chain tool. I was wondering if anyone else has stumbled into this problem and maybe fixed it already; Esprit acknowledges the error but has not released any fixes for it yet.

I'm running Esprit 2010 on XP and I've never had a problem with Auto Chain. (Knock on Wood)

Ive had some similar problems with esprit, Using various options crashing the whole system.

First of all, Check "windows update" for any visual basic patches, This didnt help much for me but you never know.

I had to re-register all files before it all worked normally again.

To do this, Go to the folder where you've got Esprit installed and you should find 2 files called "Register.bat and Unregister.bat".

-Double click on Unregister.bat and let it do its thing, After that, Double click on Register.bat and let it re-register everything again.

Hope it works out, Hate when cam software behaves like that..
