Hi,

My original plan was to build my cnc machine out of steel, but after some research I came to the conclusion that mounting the rails to a frame that had been welded would have required a lot of work. After some reading on epoxy granite it got me thinking about making the x axis rails out of that.

I have inserted a proposed diagram of the cnc bed below. This bed when finished will then sit on a steel frame.

Would appreciate your comments on this.
