    wind energY?

We are a small CNC manufacturing shop in Colorado with a handful of 3,4, and 5 axis mills. We have additional space with the room and desire to grow through machine acquisition to accommodate the growing field but refuse to do so without the work being in place first. we are looking into Wind Energy and have have contacted some of the local power generation companies with no results. A list of contacts or possible ideas on how to approach this situation would be enormously helpful.

Red to red and black to black, or it's ashes to ashes and dust to dust.

    Dear Borsodas,

Just about the best introduction to the technical aspects of wind power can be found on the Danish Wind Energy Association website.

Their "Wind Energy Manual" is really good. Sorry, but it's metric.

    Best wishes, and good luck..

    Martin

    Dear Borsodas,

Sorry, I may have misunderstood. I think you want to make turbines, not run your shop from wind power.

    Best wishes,

    Martin
