U.S. Senate: 400+ Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims 2007

Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. The new report issued by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s office of the GOP Ranking Member details the views of the scientists, the overwhelming majority of whom spoke out in 2007. Even the some in the establishment media now appears to be taking notice of the growing number of skeptical scientists. In October, the Washington Post Staff Writer Juliet Eilperin conceded the obvious, writing that climate skeptics "appear to be expanding rather than shrinking." Many scientists from around the world have dubbed 2007 as the year man-made global warming fears “bites the dust.”

The "global warming" drum beat is a thinly veiled effort to affect a trans global government above and beyond anything that the UN or the commie pinkos or gestapo troopers ever imagined.. IT also smacks heaviy of wealth redistribution via taxation of the rich/consumers at the behest of the non-consumers/poor.

Should we conserve resources? Sure. But who will be the first to start to check their useage? NOBODY that's who. Everty body is going to use what they want until there ain't no more to be had. Then things get REAL serious.

Has anyone noticed a singular lack of contentiousness now that a certain element of interlopers (paid hacks) have departed for more fruitful pastures?

I would contend that the purpose is to redistribute from everybody to just a certain class of "elite persons" with the ultimate goal of enslavement of the masses.

Certainly summer will get the same rhetoric like last summer.

Money, wealth, and power. I believe each of us tend to have views that are based on our own interests. We become aclimated to a particular way of life and are very comfortable therin.

Yes, we adjust as things change, like Digital TV which we are all going to be watching no later than February of 2009. Personally, I don't like the digital TV distortion artifacts caused by the compression method, but it's not bad.

One can find somthing wrong with anything if one looks for the imperfections.

Oil is BIG business, perhaps the biggest on the planet. Lots of scientists work directly for big oil and or energy companies, and many others indirectly. They have their own interests in mind just as we have ours in mind. We all sell a product, wheather is is tangible or intangible, and we are happy to explain why our product is better than the next guys.

Yeah, lets sit back and watch for a while. View the "data" with an open mind and cross-check to ensure what is presented is not distorted by self-interest nor embelished to make a more splashy story.

We can do our own research if we like, thanks to the internet and access to data in quantities unfathomable just 20 years ago. Just keep in mind that everyone has a story that may be spun along their own (or bosses) lines of interest. Don't just "take their word for it", check it out, and read carefully. Just because someting is "New and Improved" or "The Latest Word" doesn't mean it is worthwhile. Do we really need microprocessor controlled remotely monitored toothbrushes ????
