Just to show that you can actually blend the two disciplines, I programmed and used CNC equipment to build parts for a research project on forward osmosis.
Voila! See? It all fits. Good luck!
Hi, I dont know if this is the correct section to do this but I saw another newbie did it so I just thought i'd intro myself in here.
I'm from Trinidad (Trinidad and Tobago) in the Caribbean and I stumbled upon this site in doing some research on CNC Routers. I am currently pursuing a bachelors degree in water resources management and technology so I am a bit into the environmental stuff I am seeing in here. Quite a bit of these discussions would have been nice to read during my last semester as there is a lot of valuable info, discussions and links.
I shall be finished with my bachelors deg this year and wanted to get started on my Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma. Hopefully I can use what I will be learning in there to give me a better understanding on what takes place in some of the technical discussions here and maybe DIY my own CNC plasma router.
