EnRoute Rapid Texture Problem

Did the upgrade to 4.1 to take advantage of the rapid texture tool...Watched the vids at http://www.technoisel.com/CNC_Router...ts/Enroute.htm
The 2nd video uses an auto trim function for applying the texture to the sign outline...my problem is after selecting my wave profile, i can't get the outline to select...can't figure out what i am doing wrong!
On another note...i have been using Pro for 2 years...like the software & new innovations, however, Scanvec needs to follow up with detailed user info to help lay-people take advantage of the new innovations in their software.
I would appreciate any other links to vids on Rapid Texture use...Thanx.

I just upgraded to 4.1, but I can't see the videos to try to answer your question.

Tutorials

Anyone know if SAI will be doing a Rapid Texture tutorial or if there are any videos other than the ones in my original post?

As far as I know these are the only Rapid Texture videos that have been done, officially. The second video showing the auto trim function is a future feature, yet to be released. It will save a bunch of time when released.

Good Luck,

No, but Tom Penner is a very good friend and business associate of mine. He installed my Multicam, back in the day, and we have been working with each other ever since. They call him Mr. Enroute for a reason.

Good Luck,

Tom in PA

6 degrees of separation! Google Alerts told me about this thread,

I have lurked on CNC Zone but not participated, since I have been trying to get a few other projects launched. I am working on a rapid PANEL and rapid texture (panel is the new tool in 4.1 that takes a single seed contour and creates a series of 3D lines that can be cut rapidly, rapid texture is the new parametric textures that were introduced with 4.0) series of training movies. They are a great set of tools but kind of hard to describe in a general manner and I have been told OFTEN <grin> that my detailed videos are wonderful sleep aids. I am also waiting for the "official" release with the improvements to Rapid Panel before doing too many movies, since I don't like showing vaporware just features we ALL can use.

I work best with specific questions, so if you have them feel free to let me know and I will get some done for you and post them on my website

http://www.LearnEnRoute.com

You can contact me direct tom 'at' LearnEnRoute.com and I'll try to stay current here too.

Thos.
