My router has been acting up lately, and I have been unable to find a solution to the problem. When performing a cut, the router begins plunging into the material before it reaches the proper RPM. To avoid this, I have been jogging the bit to the far end of the table before starting the cut. This makes the router travel a further distance, giving the spindle more time to reach the proper RPMs. This problem only occurs when first starting a cut. If I pause a cut in process, and then continue, the spindle reaches the proper RPM and then plunges like I should. Also, this problem does not occur when performing a manual material rip. Only when first loading a file. I had a technician try to address this problem, and he determined that it was a software problem. Have any other enroute users encountered this problem? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. |

| It's not an Enroute issue, it's an issue with the machine control software, which should be waiting for the rpm to get up to speed before allowing movement.
