This seems like the most appropriate section. Im a brand new machinist and im starting to obtain tools... I was wondering what would be an easy and repetitive way to mark metal tools, i don't really like the idea of stamping letters in to my calipers with a hammer... Im in a big shop and I dont want to loose my tools... How do u guys do it... |

| I use an engraver. It's quick and dirty. But, here's a link just for fun: Electric Stencil It's a cool site with lots of old projects: (check the Vintage Farm Plans Link) http://www.minkhollow.net/ Chris |
