Engraving machine

I live in the UK and I am looking for a small desktop type engraving machine for hobby work.

Could anyone point me in the right direction, Im not looking for brand new or professional made, anything will do.

I think the first questuion would need to be "how much are you looking to spend?"

Are you looking for a mill retrofit or a gantry type router design?

If you fancy making one possibly look up the rockliff design, or look at buying one of widget masters machines.

I have purchased a 3axis kit and I am now looking for stepper motors, a friend has built the frame ready.

iam new to CNC. Could u please advice me about the best CNC plan i should build that is capable of engraving small art work with fine details (exmaple a lion 4x4 cm) and from where can i get the plan
