Hi all, I'm hours away from purchasing my first CNC Mill (Taig); however, I have no idea what bits I need for doing rotary engraving work. I'll mainly be engraving onto Swiss army knife handles (polymer of some sort) as well as stainless steel and cheap trophy plates. I seem to recall there were quite a few different angled bits when I had a rep demo a Vision machine a few years back. It scared me, so I stuck with my laser. ![]() Can someone recommend a set of bits I should purchase? I'm getting the 6 piece ER 16 collet set; therefore, I'll be able to handle most bit diameters. Thanks a bunch and MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! -Ed No Splinters www.nosplinters.com |

| For engraving work, you will need a floating bit holder. (I found out the hard way) go to 2Linc.com. They have a nice selection of bits and a floating bit holder. I bought one four weeks ago to get some christmas projects finished. Works great. Brian |
