Hi, I just got my site up and running and have made a few engravings I want to share under my pictures section "cnc". http://www.tea-with.me.uk/index.php?cid=5 I'm collecting some of my plastic work and will upload shortly. Thanks DC |

| Steve, The engravings took ages to machine and when I worked on the female face, I stood around blowing the dust off the work. I didn't do that with the bike and I feel the dust from previous cuts stuck to new cuts. It does give it an interesting look when viewed at a distance, kind of like more levels. I'm investing in a small airline and compressor shortly. I have tried 1052 and found it very different, so ductile it kind of stuck a bit to the spindle tool, maybe I'll have another play at different feeds. I have also to upload a few images cut into ABS, they look real nice... DC (the cutting files were generated online on my site, if you're interested) |
