Hi All, I have a New Hermes Vanguard 7200 complete with both an IS controller, (usually found on the newer Gravograph IS200, IS400, IS6000, etc.) EP module, Gravostlye 98 and opensys dos. I find the table itself and table size is quite good for my needs. However, the controller and especially both softwares are just not up to par when it comes to routing. Does anybody hear have any knowledge or experience upgrading the control system for these machines? I've heard that Mach 3 will allow direct connection between the PC and machine, eliminating the need for the above controllers. Any truth to this claim? I have found I do like VCarve Pro 6 and would problably go that route for the software. Any input of any kind would be good. Thanks  |
