    A seriuous challenge

Hi everyone, i'm Ming Yang from Singapore. Here is my situation:

I bought a cnc engraver SUDA SD3025X from a company in shanghai. The package includes a type3 v4.3 software and a delcam artspool to transfer my finished cad drawing file (file formatOTuoo) to the engraver. The file size is only 3.9kb, but after half and hour of transferring, the engraver has not moved. Please advise me on the matter, thanks in advance

    Best Regards,
    Ming Yang

What do the guys in Shanghai say?

It could be a software issue or faulty hardware. Does the machine move manually, when you give it a jog command? Did they include any sample files that are known to work for you to try? Is the software licensed and registerable, or just cracked and pirated? If it's the former, then you can get help from Type3 or Delcam; if the latter, then you're stuck...

    Problem Resolved!

Hahaha thank you for the quick response bro, appreciate it very much. The problem lies in the special cable that came with the machine. I thought it is faulty, but in fact the manufacturer designed the cable to be that way! Now my machine works fine. Just that i have to figure out how to use type 3 now =S its a big headache! do you know of a existent type 3 software tutorial or user manual?? Cheers
