Gravograph/Vision Software compatability? - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Our company runs several Vision tables and a couple Gerber tables. We are getting a Gravograph IS8000 with some other equipment from a defunct company. I an curious to know if it is possible to run (easily) the gravograph from the VisionPro software. I would like to be able to put it on a computer already running a Vision 2448; and because we all know the vision software, we would like to avoid having to learn another program (Gravostyle) in order to use the IS8000.

Any idea if it's possible?

If you have Vision Pro version 7 or 8, you should be able to run it. Run the Vision Pro open drivers program from within the Open Drivers folder on the Vision Pro installation CD and select the correct driver.
