Looking For A Job- Mastercam Specialist / Post Processor Developer

I am a Mastercam Application Specialist and Post Processor Developer with over 10 years of experience in programming applications and developing post processors for one of the countries top 10 distributors of Mastercam. I am proficient in the full Mastercam product line including Milling (2-5Axis), Lathe(2-5 Axis), Wire EDM(2 & 4 Axis). I have also conducted training classes for these products. Part of my job while working with my current employer is to assist customers when contract programming is needed. I mainly work on post processor development and providing customer solutions for Mill/Turn, and Advanced 5 axis projects. I understand Gcode very well, including TCP, Coordinate Rotation, Origin Tracking and other advanced functions.


I am interested in new opportunities to use and grow my skills and abilities. I am a quick learner, and am able to adapt quickly. I feel my experience and knowledge in the industry, along with my unique skill set could be an asset to any organization. I am looking to move to a warmer climate due to spouses health.

I am not currently creating post processors for distribution but looking for actual employment. In the event I do start providing post processors to the Mastercam customer base it will be through the existing distributors.

My wife has very severe fibromyalgia and arthritis that cause her pain. We currently live in Ohio and the cold weather is very hard on her. We are looking to relocate to warmer climate. We are looking in Florida mainly as my wife and I both have family there but are open to see what other opportunities are out there.

Sorry a1cadcam, I responded from my cell phone and didn't notice what you quoted.

I feel the Mastercam dealer network is built from talented people in industry. End user's will only benefit by continuing to work with the supplier they already know, and who knows them.

I realize not all customers will like their distributor, I'm sure it could be worked out that they can get supported but haven't put too much thought into it yet as this is not my main goal at this point.
