| Anyone mind sharing the tooling cost for a mold? It of course will need to be multiple cavity. Molding will look better than machining but at these quantities I would think it would make the per piece price too expensive, unless it went to China. Even if the mold cost $500 machining will beat the price on 1,000 pieces. You also have +\- .0005 on a diameter, I would think the mold would have to be dead on to hold that. |
