One thing that might help....I noticed you have in the specs text file that you want the material quoted as titanium. Have you priced titanium? A 12 x 12 x .5 piece from onlinemetals.com is $585.

Wish I had my machine going. :frown:

    Derlin is actually preferable.

Part is very small and difficult to fixture.
Last quote I sent you was high.
This 1 would be way up there.
Didn't want to bother you with another "high" quote.
If you want to run a couple thousand that would offset the cost of fixturing, I would have a chance.
    Otherwise $52/hour CAD.

I'd have to agree with this assessment. Personally, I can't see anyone willing to pay that kind of money for a paintball marker accessory. I could be wrong...

The run has been made, thanks for you comments. And if you were wondering it was done for ALOT less then 52$ per part.

    Thanks

If you are referring to my post; that was $52 per hour, not per part.
I am not saying the parts wouldn't be that much, but who knows.
I am also aware that it is pointless for me to try and quote against "basement" machinists. I have over a million in equipment.

I realize that your quote was 52$ an hour.
The cheapest quote actually by a medium size shop with a variety of equipment, not a basment machinist though I did get some quotes from them. If I had to guess the shop would have close to if not over a million in equipment.

Impact, as an outsider looking in and one who doesn't know any of the above people, I'd say your "And if you were wondering it was done for ALOT less then 52$ per part" was a dig at Darebee's non-provocative attempt to help. This place runs smoothly and doesn't need comments of that type!
