RFQ - CNC Turning - Nose Cone

I have a need for a rocket nose cone turned on a CNC lathe.

Rationale: While nose cones can be turned easily on a lathe, this particular design follows a precise mathematical formula to make it low drag aerodynamically.

Material: hardwood and balsa. Can be planked, but in no more than 4 pieces.

Quantity: 2, 1 of each material (identical in dimensions).

General dimensions: Approx. 17 inch in length and 2.8 inch in diameter. The cone has a shoulder, which fits inside the airframe.

Shape: nearly conical, but not quite (technically called a von Karman).

I can provide a .dwg or .dxf file. Also, I can provide an Excel file with X,Y coordinates, in either imperial or metric units, and in just about any level of granularity required.

A Houston machinist would be a plus, but not required.
