RFQ for Aluminum and Plastic Parts

This RFQ is for 4 parts. Two are made of aluminum and two are made of plastic. The two aluminum pieces must be bid together and include hard anodizing in black. I would prefer all four parts go to the same shop, but I will split it up.

The following capabilities will be needed to bid on these parts: turning, milling, and anodizing of 6061 aluminum; turning and milling of plastic (specifically derlin and polycarbonate)

Please break your bid down by part and lot size. If you are bidding on all parts, please also indicate if you are providing a different rate if a deal is made for all of the parts. Lot sizes will be 100, 250, and 500.

I will leave the RFQ open for approximately two weeks. Please email me at cooperd0g at mac.com to receive my NDA. Once the NDA is signed and returned I will send you the necessary files to provide the quote. I would prefer to keep this in the States.

    Thank you for your time,
    Keith

This RFQ is no longer open for requests for the NDA and files. Quotes from people who have the files are still coming in.

I closed the RFQ to new requests for the NDA two weeks ago. I had numerous requests for my NDA. I got about 6-8 back that were signed. I have not had a single quote come in.

People are complaining that there is no work and that too many people are getting stuff from overseas. I am trying to get these parts and want to keep it here in the States and no one actually has submitted a quote.

I know my quantities are small, but I am just starting up. I hope to one day be ordering more. I already have someone who wants to resell my product and am getting requests from my target customer, but I need some stock to actually sell and get it out there.

If you can do turning and milling of plastic and aluminum, knurling of aluminum, get the aluminum anodized, sign and return my NDA, and provide me a quote, you will most likely get this small project. So it is back open and I am looking to have parts in hand by the end of October. Looking for 100 units now.

Jay, from looking at your post about your shop, I don't think you will be able to do my parts. They are very small. The aluminum is only five inches long for the biggest piece. The other aluminum piece and the two plastic pieces are even smaller.

    Hi Cooperd0g

I emailed you about your NDA you did not return a email I called you, & you did not return the call, your 6 page NDA is a little out of the normal that is the reason I did not/have not signed it, & would say to others not to sign it, as it is too extensive for the parts that you want made
