Hi all: I recently took an early retirement from a office furniture manufacturer with a position of cinncinatti cl707 laser operator. I went golfing one day and being a "big boy" with a bad back was having trouble squatting to tee my ball. Being the inventive type I decided to make a device to solve my problem. My design included a device that not only will tee the ball but will also tee the ball at 3 adjustable tee heights using individual probes. I will be applying for a patent shortly. I joined CNC zone because I am looking for somebody, (preferably local) with a 4 axis router/mill with rotary axis to do some prototyping work for me and later possibly small run production until I am confident the product will "fly". The part I need is made from 2" PVC pipe 4" long or 10" long if 2 parts are cut from 1 blank. the cutout needs to be cut square with the center of the pipe. I have Deltacad and can send a 2D .dxf of the part. I am in process of training myself to do 3d modeling of the parts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

This coming from experience as I had to give up the game because of 2 back surgeries. I used to get others to put it on the tee and fish it out of the cup for me. I played a few more rounds like that, then I could not play at all any more. Golf is probably the roughest sport to play if you have back trouble, believe it or not. |

Interested in quoting! Please send any dwg's you have to nmi@northernmachininginc.com Also the machine we have is a mill/turn. This means in one machine it has milling and lathe capabilities. Thanks, Chad |
