Hello, I am placing the final touches on my CNC machine design, and I would appreciate if anyone can provide me with a quote for some parts which I will need to cut. This is also a prototype, and there might be potential for much larger runs at a later date. Parts are from 6061 Aluminum, with the thickness specified in the models (.375 for most part, and some .25 for bearing supports etc). -Model is done in Solidworks, and I can export ANY format required, including parasolid, or even native Mastercam .mcx if required. Here is a pic of some of the parts to get an idea as to cost and turn around times (I also show dimensions). I would need TWO of the side/top part (largest in the pic). Please also include the cost of the material, as I would look to source that as well. Thank you very much!

| All, Thank you for some of your replies (although not any really met my needs). Surprised at how many shops can't cut anything as large as the sides of my cnc table... This request HAS BEEN FILLED, and I want to say thank you to the WONDERFUL people at Trim Tool & machine....their service and people are absolutely awesome! thank you all!

| Sorry I did not get back to you sooner, We could not cut the long pieces either. Are they going to cut them on a water jet? Jeff...

| Pictures? Well that would be "highly" classified....thinking of making the plans available, as well as instructions, setup, and a complete list of suppliers, so one can build one.....for a fee off course... ![]() Here is a sneak peak at the Z-axis....

| Hi My first post!!! I just purchased/ordered your 2 Guitar Neck DVD's this morning. Found your Web Site originally from a OLF Forum (guitar) post under CNC. You posted your intent of a new CNC project there. Just wondering if there is any progress on the machine and (when and if) you may offer the plans? I'd like to produce my own necks and bridges for my acoustic guitars. Possibly some pearl inlay too. I have been looking at possibly getting here for a hobby CNC kit. Their plans are free (open source) and it looks good for a first machine for my intent. What are your thoughts on this kit? BTW... What's your name? Thanks Rick Hubka |
