We have a single project that we require the services of a Programmer/Operator for a Thermwood CNC router experienced with manually programming. We have the hand held controller, but not enough experience for this complicated part. The services would be required on site in Ontario Canada. Thank you. |

| First of all.... which Model Thermwood is it ? Does it have a floppy disk or CD ROM Drive ? If so this part can be programmed and sent to you for input into the machine. If you don't have a drawing and all you have is a sample of the actual part then perhaps the hand held controller is the way to program here. I am have run and programmed for the Turret Model with twin 5 X 5 tables. 91000 control and OS2 system. |

| I could program this for you but I live in Maine (Central) and it's a little bit far, but programming with the hand held is pretty straight forward. I would lay the part on the table (s) and trace it with an outline. Then put a series of cross lines to that out line and take the cordinates of the intersections using arc's and lines to define the outline when you hit enter on the controller it inputs the cordinates into the machine and generates the NC code needed. Put a pin type laser into the spindle held by a collet and this will allow you to drive the machine around well above the table without having to raise and lower the head as you would have to do if you had a pointed tool in there instead. I use a 5/8 dia pin laser and tape the button on to do this. |
