    CNC Milled alu prototype

    Hi

    I need 2 pieces of this for prototype, if turns out good we can continue with a 20-50 pc. serie.
    ALU 6061 or similar.
    Part needs to be anodized, I'd be glad if you do that, but I can anodize also.

    Original model is in ProE WF4 format.
    Has to be shipped to Hungary, so I prefer a manufacturer within the EU.
    IGES file

    Size: 60x45.5x30 mm. Tolerance: +- 0.1 mm

    Thanks in advance;;;

    I'm a US Rep for Jinmeng Precision Machinery. We can quote this part, if you would like. We can machine and deliver component within 7-10 business days. But we are outside the EU, please let me know if we can quote your RFQ.

    Thanks

    You are aware that some of the part is not possible to machine on a 3 axis machine with standard tools. Inside on the side where the fins are placed there is a spot that is not possible to mill either from the top nor the bottom

    Also the piece has a lot of fancy roundings that makes machining a lot more dificult/time consuming. If price is an issue, you may want to turn down on all those CAD features :-) For example, the rounded fins calls for an additional setup and the chamfering on the fins definitely calls for 5 axis

    Im using WF4 too, if you send me the file i can show you what i mean. Also i can give you a RFQ, shipping from Denmark to Hungary cant be that expensive

    You're absolutely right! I just made some quick final modifications, and that's what happens if I work in a hurry.
    Thanks for the correction!
