Hello everyone, My father has a machine shop. I am trying to help find him work for the shop. M.M. Machinist Metalworks, is in Margate, FL. It's run by highly skilled machinists with 20 years experience in all aspects of metal fabrication. Specific areas of experience include milling, boring, and lathe work. The following is a list of the equipment: - 2 Okuma Lathes N.C. - 1 Hurco Lathe N.C. TM8 - 1 Sharp Milling N.C. SV2412 - Engine Lathe (16” swing -40” between centers) - Heavy Duty Bridgeport - Conventional Milling Machines - 1 Micro Optical Comparator If you have a production or prototype requirement let M.M. service you. Please PM or e-mail me at cemm@att.net Thank you, Evelyn |

| Good to see you posting, looking for work. It is a difficult time for anyone in the machining business. You are doing the right thing, keep looking for work. Keep your sales calls up, try getting your name out any way that is affordable. Keep your expenditures to a minimum and your positive attitude to a maximum. I firmly believe that business cards are a great medium to advertise with. Low cost, and you can seed them out anywhere that looks fertile. Word of mouth, and handing out cards seemed to get me my best results. Much as I hate sales calls, history shows them effective. Good on you for plugging for your family. Regards Paul |

| Hey guys thanks for the feedback/responses. matt, sorry to see, hope things get better for yah paul, yes, I am trying my best, I have sent e-mails, made phone calls, thanks for the business card advice, I will start to spread those around as well. Thanks Mr. moderator toby, if there is a more proper section, by all means move away. Dualkit, my apologies if your sick of these kind of posts. I did PM a mod before posting it, and searched for an "Employement" section, this being what I found. Now clearly my thread title says "Anyone need work done?" So I am trying to work for you, not hire you. I will be more then happy to post it in the right section, help out a newb member and send me the link to this place. Thank you E |

Most places I hear are on the down side unfortunately. Hopefully things change soon for the better.
