My client, a precision metal manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is in urgent need of a Multi Axis CAM Programmer to join their team.

Reporting to Production Manager, the objective of the role is to develop and modify programs for various CNC machinery milling and materials to drawing and/or specific requirements as requested by the Production & Engineering divisions. The jobholder will act as a sole machinist for various types of metal, Plexiglas and other materials.

To qualify, you must have a technical or industrial diploma with minimum 4 years of experience in a machine shop milling, grinding, cutting and turning environment. You should also have the ability to read diagrams, specifications of different types of material and technical procedures to determine methods and sequences of machining operations using suitable programs as well as use manual/automatic milling machines, drill presses, and other standard machine shop tools and hand powered tools as required. Good mathematical skills and competencies in CAM Programming of CNC metal cutting machine and Manual CNC Programming of milling and turning machines are a must for the role.
