I need a screw manufactured as I am unable to find a replacement, and the slot on the original is damaged. Following are pictures of the item: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22688139@N06/2975267663/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22688139@N06/2975268525/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22688139@N06/2976124746/ Can someone please let me know a ballpark for what this would run, and what measurements I would need to take in order to have it replicated? I would like one or two manufactured, and if they fit properly, I would probably order a small batch of them. Thanks, Chris Williams |

| You would need to provide the diameter of the shoulder (just below the head) and overall length for someone to venture a guess. From the pictures it could be the size of a pencil or as big as a train car axle (from what I see). Use a ruler and approximate for a ball park price. |

| I took the following measurements with calipers from the screw: Overall Length: 2.90" long Diameter of screw: .23" Threaded end of screw .26" of threads Diameter of Head: .30" Depth of Head on Screw .10" Length of screw shaft with threads 2.80" 6 threads in .23" Looks like perhaps 30 threads per inch (I would like to verify this with a nut at a local hardware store. |
