Hi there- I'm looking for somebody to manufacture an item out of aluminum for me. A circle with a diameter of about 9.75" with slots that are approximately .355" wide. You can see the slot pattern here: http://shellsorter.com/page5/page5.html My plan is to set the aluminum piece in one of the pans to sort another size of shell. The two sizes that I need to sort apart are very close in diameter, and I can't get tight enough tolerance with plastic. I don't think the aluminum would need to be terribly thick, mayb 1/8" - 3/16" I need about 500 to start, and then probably 500 every other month. Let me know if you are interested. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks! jeff at shellsorter.com edit: slot size is .385" -.388" Last edited by ranagent; 08-21-2008 at 01:02 PM. |
