Is there any body farmiliar with cutting tool market?

That's a very broad question. I think you need to refine it a little. In other words, what particular aspect of the market are you interested in.

There're many kinds of cutting tools being made in my location. Most are powder metallurgy tools, but there're also HSS milling tools. How about the market of custom-made tools?

What do you need to know-I hae been in the field for 12 years. Im an applications engineer and work with cutting tools daily.

The custom tooling market does exist, I was once offered a position to design custom tooling for a local company. I did not take the position, so I can't say just how much demand there actually is. I do know from others that most people try to avoid custom tooling for the obvious reasons of high cost.

Custom cutting tools are usually for high volume production of a specific part. it was much more prevelent for scew machine tooling. Not many screw machine houses anymore.
