Electro/Mechanical Technician A - WI 6309 | | Temp to Hire position
Provide capabilities to trouble shoot or repair electrical manufacturing equipment, and to support the development of electronic technologies and applications for new and existing products.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical devices and perform repairs on CNC machines, ovens and sewing machines.
Provide technical assistance to electronic systems and component vendors. Maintain inventory necessary for production requirements. recommend electrical applications that assure quality longevityis achieved.
Help train Electro/Mechanical Tech B's and electrical assemblers.
Certification/technical degree in electronics or a minimum of ten years of combined electrical and electronics manufacturing experience.
Experience in development of electrical systems and prototypes.
Proven knowledge and ability to train and use electrical tools including; multi-meter, low ohms meter, oscilloscope, soldering iron, crimping tools and heat gun.
Five years of electro/mechanical assembly experience a plus. Knowledge of schematics, electrical symbols and the ability to reference components in data books. Ability to interpret CAD/Pro-E drawings.
Understanding of basic and advanced electronics, mechanical and pneumatic applications. Familiarity with dimension tolerancing principles.
