Job Opening CNC Programmer - Appleton WI 7471

This is a Temp to Hire position
1st shift postion 7:30am to 4:00 pm with some OT available

Establishing work instructions (routing) for new projects
Developing fixturing and work-holding for manufacturing processes
Programming CNC code
Continuous improvement of process
Create the work instructions (routing) information to accurately reflect the processes to be used in manufacturing the parts.
Create the set-up sheets to be used by operators to consistently set-up the job.
Write/coordinate writing the CNC code for each CNC operation.
Working with quality, create the inspection instructions for new parts.

Monitor the first production runs
to assure that the set-up sheet is accurate and the set-up time is correct.
to verify process control and that quoted production rates can be achieved.

If process capability or rates cannot be achieved, take the necessary corrective steps to achieve them.
If all reasonable steps have been taken and process capability and/or production rates cannot be achieved, bring the situation to the attention of management.

Work with the production manager to develop ongoing process capability and productivity action steps and assist in implementing the steps. Monitor the results.

Working with CNC mills and lathes
Fanuc controls-G & M code
Some Mitsubishi controls
Working with Solidworks, Feature Cam and Master Cam
Proficient in the use of Techsoft CAM software.
Proficient in the use of PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
Proficient and experienced in the CNC machining processes.
