I need just one of these made, if it works like I'm hoping I may need more later down the road or another made with adjustments. This is to be used on a radio Controlled Nitro rig and will be a functional radiator to cool the liquid that will run to the engine. Time wise I'm flexable but would like it as quick as could be, for testing. I'd also like to keep it as inexpensive as possible since I'm allready over the alloted funds for this project. I've tried to make it some what adjustable for various resons but want to try and keep it as much as possible in the overal size. I may need to add a way to mount a small computer fan to it after testing. For now I can fab up something that'll work. so that may be something you want to keep in the back of you heads when responding or making. I appologize for the elementry drawing but I"m just working with what I have, the cleanest way possible. PM me here w/ RFQ's.. Edit: needs to be aluminum for best heat transfer. It can also be .75" thick if it's easier to machine. Double Edit: Please contact me for image. after some good advice it will only be available to those interested in quoting and agreeing to a non-disclosure via PM. Basically if you contact me through a PM on this forum you are agreeing to all non-disclosure laws, federal and local government. All images submited by me are also covered under Federal Copy right laws. When responding through PM please sign with your full legal name and address. Thank you. As far as I'm concerned, for a part like this you're going to need a solid model to even get guys to look at it. I wouldn't touch this job without one...too much information missing, too much left for interpretation, and too many ways for it to go wrong. Don't get me wrong, I know about radiators and this would be a very cool part to make, but without a toleranced print and a whole lot more info (solid model), if your machinist sends you something that you didn't want, there's nothing to go back to, and it is NOT his fault! Also, this:
If you do get any quotes, be prepared. This will be an expensive part no matter how you cut it. |
