Need A Quote- 3" Baltic Birch plywood disks

I need baltic birch plywood disks in 3" diameter to stack together to make 6 posts of 20" long each with a center hole of 3/8". The number would depend on the thickness of the wood you use.

Should the OD be left with the raw machine cut, so when you assemble and finish sand you don't have any chamfers left from deburring? What about porosity and voids in the plywood? Nice looking finished product. I will PM you..............

Actually, the picture of the speaker is a sample. I was just trying to show what Im trying to accomplish with the stand.

I dont understand the first part of the question. As far as the voids, I dont care because Im only concerned about the sides of the wood, not the surface, since they are going to be stacked on top of each other.

He's talking about voids in the edges, not the face. Good Baltic Birch shouldn't really have any voids in the core plys, but cheap stuff might.

To bad to late.I had hundreds of different circles with 3/8 center holes from cutting baffles.After a few months we have to throw them out as they clutter the shop.
Maybe next time.

BTW, I do not want any voids, since the whole look is gonna be from the plies.

I've used BB a lot in my time as a patternmaker, wow that must wiegh a ton.

Are you planning on marketing these? Reason I ask is are you prepared to handle the liability when one topples over and injures someone?

Also, wouldn't it be easier to just veneer some PVC pipe for your stand?

I have a cnc router with a 4x8 table, I could nest and cut many of these disks from a sheet of BB.

Do you have an idea of how many you need?
