Looking to get these face plates made. They need to be either anodized black or powder coated whichever is cheaper. I'm looking for prices on these qty's 10,25,50. Let me know if you need any other info.

you should send it as an iges or step not all can open a solidworks file. Todd

I would think pdf, dxf or dwf would be most preferred if possible, viewers for those files are free and readily available.

Ok here we have .step, .pdf. and .igs.

Ok that PDF is useless.....I guess I have to show all the dimensions before I save it as PDF. Hopfully the Step and IGS will work for you guys. I didn't have the option of saving it as a DXF or DWF.

If you make a 2d "shop print" SW will save as dwg or dxf.

I don't see anything that says 2d shop print. I'm somewhat new to solidworks.

A shop print is a drawing that you give to the guy on the shop floor that has all needed information for manufacturing.

The function to start making this in SW is "new" then "drawing"
