Size is 1/4 x 26 x 27. Is a decorative grid pattern cut 1/4" deep (thru) across entire surface. Program router to cut and repeat over and over several hundred times until entire piece is routed. I will provide grid design/pattern info. Plastic may be desirable (if will hold up better) unless prohibitively costly compared to hardboard. Color should be a brown or black or can easily be painted same. Last edited by 43220; 03-31-2008 at 09:47 AM.

I don't know that hardboard or plastic would be suitable for something like that. I would suggest aluminum or stainless. If either aluminum or stainless will work for you, I can laser cut it. I can laser cut acrylic as well, and probably a lot faster than it can be routed and the edges are as clean as flame polished surfaces. Gary

looks to be black delrin, which is stiff, and can be cut at high IPM speed, with that dimension, it can be done in under 10 minutes on a multicam router 5000 series. actually a 4x8 sheet could be done in about 30 minutes or less with tolerance approaching .005 or better. what type of finish are you looking for?
