This is an exhaust manifold flange drawing for a M20B25 BMW L6 motor for my '90 325i. The bore spacing is 91mm (I'm pretty sure). The drawing is mixed mm and in right now, but it is not a final drawing. I don't have exact specifications yet, just a rough layout. I don't even know what type of steel it should be made out of. My plan is to have someone cut this, then purchase a universal header kit and cut and weld until it's a complete long tube header. Thanks! Jeremy Last edited by mmmjboner; 01-27-2008 at 09:56 PM. |

| Hi: You could purchase the X gasket and reverse engineer, to verify the dimensions, or plot 1:1 and fit on the head. As far as manufacturing goes, I'd recommend matching the header material to the flange in order to be able to get a good weld. This part is a prime candidate for waterjet cutting, or plasma cutting the profile, bores, and then drilling the holes with a 1:1 template glued to the part. regards |
