I am looking for a machinist position doing programming/setup work or production management. I have a journeyman's certification from the USAF in Metals Technology (machining/welding) and have been the head machinist running a YCM-60 (vmc) and a Kia [Hitachi] 4NEII-600 (lathe). I have also run a Wells Index w/Centroid controller (VMC), a Bridgeport EZ Path, as well as many manual machines.
I currently manage all design, prototyping, production, graphics, and laser engraving as well as end user support. I have successfully finished projects with production runs finishing ahead of schedule and am very familiar with different types of metal finishing processes.
I am also a 6G USAF certified aircraft welder on Al and SS. I have been signed off in OxyAc operations including, but not limited to - welding, brazing, and silver soldering; MIG operations in all positions; TIG operations in all positions; and SMAW operations in all positions. I am a very proficient welder with nearly 15 years of experience.
I also have extensive experience with QA and precision measuring. This was obtained in the USAF while inspecting and repairing multiple sets of highly complex F-16 landing gear.
I am highly motivated, and very dedicated to any position that I may be assigned. I also have a Bachelors degree and can communicated and get along with a wide array of people and personality types.
