    Manual milling in Houston

Hi, Im working on a RF45 clone millling machine cnc conversion and might need someone with a mill to do some minor trimming or surfacing on a ballnut mount or bearing mount. The deal is I am designing the parts and making them with my mill but when it comes time to disassemble the mill and install the cnc parts- if they dont fit exactly I hope to not have to put the mill back together to trim a part .020 and start over. Especially the Z axis column. That leadscrew is kind of a pain to put back in. I have done it and hope to only pull it out once more and go back in with the ballscrew assy. Also on my Y slide there is a spot about 2 inches square on the bottom that I need to surface flat for the ballnut mount and cant mill it myself. Its a chicken and egg problem I need 2 mills. Please let me know if you would be available for something like this in the near future. I can email you a picture of any needed work. I will pay you for your time, should be very easy. Thanks Dave

I might be able to help you with this as long as I don't have anything on my mills at that time, email me and let me know when you might want to do this. I live in New Caney just north of Houston.
