Please forgive my ignorance as I'm just getting started experimenting with cnc. I'd like to get 2 bearing blocks/flanges made up of aluminum. Open to suggestions for what grade AL. 1 bearing blocks will be for the free floating ballscrew side to house a single ball bearing of OD=~30mm or so. 1 block for the driven side to house 2 angular contact bearings, OD=~30mm. I'll post a cad drawing and dimensions later, i would figure these could be done in a 2"x 4" x3" block. I'm looking for a ballpark figure. |
