I'm looking for someone to mill a pair of circle segments (chords?) for me. I could supply a drawing, but I think it is overkill considering how simple the parts are. If you can imagine taking a circle then slicing off the top 2.89 inches or so, that is what I need. I need two circle segments, one cut from a 26.38" radius circle, and the second cut from a 12.74" radius circle. The 26.38" circle segment will end up being 24" wide and the other 16.15". I'd like them made out of 1/8" aluminum that the shop supplies. This isn't a prototype or anything, just a set of templates I'll use for my router for woodworking, so it is likely to be a one-time job though I may end up wanting different sized templates later on. The following image may shed some light, I'm interested in the yellow portion of the image where h would be 2.89 for both, and c would be 24 where R is 26.38 and 16.15 where R is 12.74. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...gment_1001.gif Thanks for looking... | You might want to say that it is OK to have a few holes in the segments to hold them down while they are being machined. Ken
