We are looking for oner person to do the following job in an aerospace type job shop in Camarillo California.

Assembly / Shipping / Material Control

Must have a minimum of 2 years mechanical assembly and have a strong mechanical sense . An ability to effectively communicate is a must. Must have a working knowledge of a machine shop environment. Position will be responsible for several positions that once person can cover. They are Assembly, Shipping & Receiving and Material control. Assembly includes all assembly, installation of hardware such as heli-coils, keenserts, dowel pins, ink stamping, engraving, minor paint touch up, mix and apply adhesives, threading holes and other basic assembly type work. Shipping & Receiving must take care of all incoming/outgoing materials, hardware and manufactured items. Candidate will be responsible for all packaging, wooden crate building, transporting of parts around the building and all documentation. Candidate must be proficient with UPS and FedEx online systems and able to be certified to operate a forklift. Candidate must be flexible in terms of duties and must be competent in all areas. Candidate must also supervise and coordinate activities of other workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment: Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures. Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Must also demonstrate & apply strong problem solving skills in day-to-day operations; review processes for potential problems and opportunities for improvement and collaborate with appropriate personnel to resolve such issues; If you enjoy a creative & fast paced environment then this may be the job for you.
