Position: CNC Machinist
Term: Permanent/Direct Hire
Shift: 2nd (3:30pm - 2:00 am Monday thru Thursday, and 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm every other Friday)
Pay: $17.00 or more, depending on experience ( plus a 5% shift differential)
Location: Taneytown, MD
Job Description: The CNC Programmer Machinist position requires some experience operating mills, lathes and/or drill presses in a production shop environment. Will be responsible for CNC programming and editing; performing precision machining on both manual and CNC equipment. Must posses experience in set-up, programming, editing and operation of precision metal turning equipment; set-up for castings; ability to read and interpret a wide variety of complex blue prints; advanced math skills and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate will be very hands on, have a strong mechanical aptitude, computer literate and capable of managing projects from start to finish.
The following skills are a plus, but not required for the CNC Machinist: MDSI and FANUC control experience; CAM experience, especially in the use of Edgecam 6.0 or greater; Faro Arm; and experience with the following machine tools: CNC H.M.C and VTL.
Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug and background check.
