I have a SS part I need a quote on. 2500 pcs in 303 0r 304.

What is the turn length of the .0439 diameter?

The pin is tapered. Starts at .051 ends at .0439.

1: You say the taper starts @ .051 and ends @ .0439, is that to say that it is a negative taper starting @ the face of the part @ .051" Ø and ending @ .0439" Ø at the shoulder? * Your Drawing isn't dimensioned that way!

2: Can the O/D, .1875" Ø be "Stock 3/16" Ø rod -OR- does it have to be machined?

3: What is the tolerance of the Over All Length? ** Your Drawing doesn't show an actual length, only a bunch of "Stack Ups!"

4: When do you need these 2.500 pieces by? What is your lead time frame?

(( just asking for clarification so I don't go making junk if we come to terms and you give me the job! ))

I can make another drawing to make it simple. Most of it is + - .001

Hopefully this clears up some things. Specify what lead times would be. The 3/16 diamter doesn't have to be a machined surface.

terrell you should really look at the print before asking questions, may help your chances at getting the job. .2705 long 303 or 304 stainless

Right now I need the quotes for a customer. I don't do turning work so I outsource it. I don't have a time frame yet but would like to know turn around if this goes into production.
