looking for Berkeley Ca Machinist /Engineer

Great benefits including retirement. It's been a great move for me. I've learned a lot about machining, engineering, and inspection over my 6 years here.
If your a hard worker and really good, please let me know via pm as we also have a referral encentive. If your neither of the above please forget you saw this post as we try to only hire the best.

Nice job descriptions, but no "Monetary Incentive / Motivational Indicators"
One hell of a job telling us of all the job requirements! Could you post a "Pay Scale" for these positions? I believe I can speak for everyone interested when I say that we are aware that the actual pay will be "Commensurate With Experience" but @ least post the "Pay Scales" for each job, if you would!

You are bold enough to post the following:
If your a hard worker and really good, please let me know via pm as we also have a referral encentive. If your neither of the above please forget you saw this post as we try to only hire the best.
Be bold enough to post the "Pay Scales"

    truly

Sorry about that. I have found that the lab has always been good about beating most peoples current pay.
FWIW out of our 2007 union book, scales are machinist II =21.55-31.33 Mech Engineer = 21.55-31.33
I Hesitate to post these though as I've also seen that if they really like your qualifications you might find that you are now 'qualified' for some other position we 'needed' allowing for a higher pay scale, Or the board can request a 'special' circumstance and be approved a higher scale. These exceptions are rare but have happened.
Also don't underestimate the value of the extremely good retirement program here. If your only getting a matched 401K then figure how much of you pay goes toward that.

    Other incentives:

Please let me know if you have more questions. Maybe your the person we're looking for?

On a personal note - I seldom make the same part more then once, I have seen my handywork on the front page of the SF Chronicle in the hands of a grinning scientist and have contributed to a nobel prize, what hopefully will be the next waves of anti-cancer drugs, discovering the causes of many genetic disorders, also helped build the tools for the next generation of supercomputers. Most importantly for me - I love coming to work everyday. (This may be a mental disorder-but true) Somethings are worth more then $$

I've got stuff on Beamline 10.0.1 at ALS....among other places....know what you mean. Too bad most of the stuff we make ends up in a vacuum, in a chamber, never to see the light of day.

But you also didn't mention how much it costs to park....
