Hello all,

We are looking for someone to supply us with a 2 inch schedule 40 thickness aluminum pipe, approx 6 inches long, and would have a threaded end for an aluminum cap only on one end. We would need the cap also, which would screw on.

This is for a prototype project. Please email me with a quote for 10, 50, 100. Also, need a delivery time.

Please be advised we do not need anything fancy...straight pipe, simple cap design.

Simple question: is the pipe to be threaded on the I/D or the O/D?? This way I can figure out if to make a "BOLT style CAP PLUG" OR A "I/D THREADED CAP"

Another fine question would be design intent of the thread? Do you need a fine thread to counter vibration, A coarse thread to take the cap on and off quickly, a pipe thread for sealing purposes etc.

On the pipe, it would be exterior fine threads.
