Folks,
I know there are places for finding "job work" but am not sure of what ones have a good reputation and lots of varieties of work offered up frequently?
Can you (the collective YOU) share any good sites where you've had good response for getting jobs to work on?
I am interested in all sorts of jobs. Small runs, government and private, whatever...
Thanks!

I've heard of a site called First Index mentioned before. I've never looked into it but I know that it is an online source for RFQ's etc. The problem with quoting online with any of these places is that you open yourself up to some very stiff competition. When you're quoting on a "local" job with your existing clients or through word of mouth you may only be up against 4 or 5 shops. Online it could be 20 shops or more. The chances of winning a job become much smaller online....

I don't know much about anything but I know a little about everything....
I agree with cdlenterprises last post. Not only is there going to be more competition on line, the pricing being quoted is at a non-profitable low. I think our time would be best spent looking to make relationships with buyers personaly. Start setting up appointments with purchasing and hit the pavement.
