Hi, We are working on a new project, where we have to turn (Hard turn) a component which is about 270mm long, 25.4 dia, (component is with centers). Here at one end there is a spline. The requirement is the other end dia (about 17.0) should be out within 20 microns with respect to the nominal dia of spline. Can you give some suggestions? Thanks for any help.    |

| Providing you have a very close fitting mate to the spline, you may be able to fixture that end at the spindle and as the drive! No, that wont work either! Just a thought! Eric |

| Also thinking of a collet chuck. The collet having its Int. Dia as the spline. |
