I'm wondering if you need to contact someone with a sign engraving machine. Long ago I was doing a custom faceplate for a radio and it had some crazy atuff on it - the engraving shop I used worked out perfectly. I still think I gave them a DXF though. Hopefully something has changed...

Can your design be die cut? If not can you go with cnc router route? Since it is flat surfacce work can you supply dxf file for review?
