    rfq- sae j500 internal serration

    hello,

    i thought i would check on here to see if anyone has a solution for a small part we're working on. here is what we're looking for.

    4140 - 1"dia. (stock size) x .312 long with sae j500 serration through.

    we're looking for 20 samples and then would like to place an order for 1000pcs
    mid-december.

    sorry left off critical info: 3/4" (48)nominal diameter. material 4140 annealed they'll be heat treated after there is other work done to them.

    Phil, SAE J500- what? 1/4-36? 1/2-36, 3/4-48? Material condition of blanks?
    Annealed, Cold drawn, NQ&T? Are you heat treating parts after broaching?
