    Free 3D modeling offer!

    Greetings,

I have taken it upon myself to learn a new CAD system (Solidworks) and have had a chance to play around but I am wanting to design something REAL! Do you have a project that could use some 3D modeling? (Looking for more beginner work, no surfaces!!!) I want to work with you on developing your design in 3D. I would like to partner with someone and perhaps we could make this into a win-win scenario. (for instance, maybe you help make a few good parts for my Solsylva machine that I want to build).

Let me know!!!! Send me a sketch and I will review.

Since my bandwidth is limited: full time job as an Engineer and wife and kids, you will have to be patient with me!!! I will only be able to take on a little bit, so if you get no reply, it means I have accepted a project.

    Thanks,
    cpy911

you should at least reply to people and let them know you are already on a project.

    Ok...I hear you

Yes, that is a good idea to post my status.
Sure, I will go ahead and post a reply if I take on something.

One suggestion I had was to buy the Solsylva plans and start modeling it!
I am thinking of doing this...so if nothing pops up soon, I think I will buy the plans and start modeling the Solsyva machine...

    Thanks,
    cpy911

I am going to model the Solsylva plans instead!

Well looks like I will just go ahead and get the Solsylva plans and model them up... it looks like a daunting task...but I will learn something hopefully!
    Thanks....

    Sounds like a good project.

You musn't get too excited about getting instant responses on a web forum, I notice you haven't even given this thread 24 hrs to steep.
Some people only browse here occasionally.
